Here’s some reading homework for the unit on Ancient Greece. Manage your time and homework wisely. This is an on-line reading, so take measures now to make sure you can have it read by Tuesday 11-25.

You’ll read one of Plato’s famous dialogues and witness the “Socratic Method” in action. The presentation in class will prep you for Euthyphro. Unfortunately, the textbook offers just one abridged piece of Plato’s work. You’ll have to locate this text on-line. At the end of this paragraph is a guaranteed link to an easy-to-read version. You must make a “game plan” now. Don’t wait until the night before the due date to discover that something doesn’t work. You may print it out and scribe upon it if you’d like, but that’s really not necessary. You may want to prepare a few pages of notes and passages you found intriguing. It wouldn’t hurt to prepare a summary. You’ll be quizzed as usual. http://classics.mit.edu/Plato/euthyfro.html
